Why should we choose your company?

There are a lot of entertainers to choose from in the area.  So why should you choose us?  We stand apart from the rest for several reasons:

1.)   QUALITY OF ENTERTAINMENT.

From our entertainers to the products we use, we never skimp on quality or safety in order to save money.

We are a small company of professional artists who can handle any event large or small!  Unlike the huge corporate companies, we don’t hire inexperienced college kids, put them in a costume and hand them a paintbrush and a balloon pump.  Our entertainers are professional artists, actors, dancers and musicians with years of training and experience, an eye for detail, and the passion to make your event one that will be talked about for months to come.  We build personal relationships with all the children we meet and we are happy that many of our clients become lifetime customers!

2.) SAFETY and QUALITY OF PRODUCTS.

We use only the highest quality FDA approved hypoallergenic cosmetic face paints as well as cosmetically approved glitter and gems.   We do carry the proper liability insurance and ensure all measures of safety and hygiene are checked.  You can trust that we consider your child’s safety the priority and that all the products we use are top of the line!  The paint washes off easily with just water and baby shampoo or baby wipes, or choose to use your favorite coconut or jojoba oil!

3.) PROFESSIONALISM.

There’s nothing more disappointing than a Princess Cinderella or a Birdie the Clown who doesn’t show up at your child’s party!  We guarantee our entertainers will show up on time, prepared, and with a fantastic attitude.  This is your child’s special day and we aim to keep it that way!

Do you offer face painting for adults as well?

Yes, Melinda’s face painting is so sophisticated and glamorous that adults at nearly every event want to get in on the fun as well!  Please check out our adult designs here!

How many hours will I need to book for my party?

It depends on several factors, including the number of guests and type of entertainment requested! A great face painter will be able to paint 10-15 faces per hour, depending on the level of detail in the painting and the age of the child.  A great balloon artist will be able to entertain 20- 30 children per hour, depending on how fancy you like your designs!  Our magic show, musical entertainment, ballet and dance parties, etc. usually average 1 hour and can be tailored to any size party or event, and are usually combined with a face paint or balloon package. You can call or email us anytime to discuss your entertainment needs and plan a party that will fit your budget!

Do you travel out of state?

Yes, we will travel anywhere to attend your event!  We are based in Manhattan.  For out-of-state travel, as well as to certain areas of Queens, Brooklyn and the Bronx, we request a 2 hour minimum and a small travel fee.  Travel fees and minimum booking times are based on your events location and the travel time to/from your party, as well as gas, tolls, train fares, parking, etc. All party addresses are researched before our services are contracted and any travel costs/fees will be estimated and negotiated before you book a face painter.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes! We currently offer discounts on parties when booking 4 hours or more.  We also offer discounts to non-profit organizations, including schools, churches and fund-raising groups!  Please call us to discuss your specific event and find out what we can offer you!  We may also be able to offer discounts for non-holiday weekday events Monday-Thursday.

What type of events can you service?

We offer entertainment for every event or venue you can imagine.  Some of the types of events we service are: Birthday Parties, Bar/Bat Mitzvah’s, Street Fairs, Sports Events, Holiday Parties, Sweet 16’s, Corporate Events, Office Family Days, Baptisms, Christenings, First Communions, Bridal Shower, Grand Opening, Reunions, Concerts, and many more, for almost every type of event, we have you covered!

Are there reviews of your company?

Yes!  We have painted for companies as large as National Geographic and as special as your family bar-b-que!  You can find reviews on Yelp, our Facebook business page, Gigmasters and Gigsalad!  Can’t find them, just email and ask us for a list of links!  If you would like to add your own review we always appreciate feedback!

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes, we are fully covered under the Specialty Insurance Agency!  If your party venue requires “proof of coverage” please let us know and we will happily provide a Certificate of Additional Insured.  Please allow 2 weeks for processing.

What if we need to cancel or reschedule?

We’re so sorry to hear that!  Our booking deposit is Non-Refundable and we kindly ask for a minimum of 2 weeks notice for cancellations/re-schedules.  Once we receive your deposit, our artists are holding your date and time secure, meaning we’re probably turning down lots of other work so we can be there to celebrate with you.  Thanks for your understanding!  In some cases, payment may be due in full at time of booking and/or there may be a small reschedule fee.
